TRIATHLON COACHING

We can provide triathlon, duathlon, or specific running and cycling coaching for athletes of all abilities and over all distances. This is done online, using the Xhale platform and is specific to each athlete.

There are various packages to suit your requirements and goals whether that be running your first half marathon, taking part in your first triathlon, completing your first Ironman, improving your personal bests, reaching the podium, or qualifying for Kona.

TRAINING CAMPS

We will be organising various triathlon and cycling training camps throughout the year. These are open to all - you don't have to be a DC Triathlon coached athlete.

TESTING

At DC Triathlon we use various tests to monitor our athletes improvements. 

We can be on hand to motivate and guide you through the following tests on our Wattbike Pro, Wahoo Kickr or treadmill.

- FTP test

- Power hour test

- Submax health test

- 6 second test

- 5KM 

We can then provide you with a full breakdown and analysis of your performance.

CORE TRAINING

An area which is often neglected by athletes is their strength. Arrange a 1 to 1 session with DC who will guide you through some of his favourite exercises or why not let him design a training plan for you and strengthen your weaknesses and give you the best chance of remaining injury free. Strength and conditioning sessions are included within the full coaching packages.

HEALTH TESTING

At DC triathlon we appreciate that not all of our clients are the same or are starting from the same level of fitness and each individual has their own goals. We offer a 12 week health improvement course, starting with a short test on the Wattbike, we will then provide you with a 12 week training guide before a re-test to track your improvements. Ideal for complete beginners, those who don't want to race and are just looking to improve their general health.

SEMINARS

There is a LOT of information out there.. how do you cut through the rubbish and find the latest reliable research? Let us do the hard work for you. We will be hosting a number of seminars covering topics from training methods, technique, nutrition to race psychology.

NUTRITION

You can't underestimate the importance of getting your nutrition right whilst training and racing.

We are in the process of setting up a relationship with a qualified Dietitian with a view of creating specific nutrition plans for our athletes. Watch this space.
